TVXQ (often stylized TVXQ or TVfXQ), an acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi(東方神起), is a South Korean Acapella quintet (currently continuing as a duo as of December 2010, due to three of the members filing lawsuit) formed under SM Entertainment in 2003. In South Korea they are known as Dong Bang Shin Ki (동방신기); they were later introduced in Japan as Tohoshinki (東方神起 Tōhōshinki?) under the Avex sub-label Rhythm Zone in 2005. Their name translates as "The Rising Gods of the East".

3. Super Junior also known as simply SJ or Suju , is a thirteen-member Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2005, managed by producer Lee Soo Man. The group initially debuted with twelve members on November 6, 2005 with the single, "TWINS (Knock Out)". The original twelve members, from oldest to youngest, are Leeteuk (the leader), Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kibum. The Chinese member, Han Geng, was chosen among the 3,000 applicants through auditions held in China by SM Entertainment in 2001.

4. Big Bang (Korean: 빅뱅), commonly stylized as BIGBANG, is a South Korean pop boy band. The group's formation was chronicled on the television series Big Bang Documentary, from July to August 2006. The show was also aired online on GomTV and on MTV Korea. Initially a six-member group, one member got eliminated out during the airing of the show before the official debut leading to their current line-up of G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, Daesung and Seungri. Big Bang made their debut on August 19, 2006 at the Gymnastics Arena in Seoul Olympic Park during the YG Family concert.
5. F.T. Island (Korean: 에프티 아일랜드), Five Treasure Island, or FTI, is a five-member South Korean band. The name F.T. Island stands for 'Five Treasure Island', noting that each of the five members is a treasure of talents of their own. Their debut album, titled "Cheerful Sensibility", was the sixth best-selling album in 2007. They debuted on may 2007.
6. Shinee (샤이니, stylized as SHINee, pronounced /ˈʃaɪniː/ "shiny") is a contemporary R&B South Korean boy band. Formed by SM Entertainment in 2008, they made their debut on May 25, 2008on SBS's Popular Songs with their promotional single, "Noona Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)" ("누난 너무 예뻐 (Replay)", lit. "Older Girl, You're So Pretty (Replay)"). The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Since their debut, Shinee has won numerous awards. They have also starred in their own reality show based on their song, "Noona Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)". Shinee is considered to be a fashion icon having started the "Shinee Trend".
7. 2AM is a South Korean four-member ballad boy band under JYP Entertainment. The members are Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Changmin. 2AM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008 onKBS's Music Bank, performing their debut song "This Song". They won their first Mutizen at Inkigayo on February 7, 2010 with "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die".
8. U-KISS (Korean: 유키스) is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by NH Media in 2008. The members include Kevin Woo, Alexander Lee Eusebio, Shin Soohyun, Kim Ki Bum, Lee Kiseop, Eli Kim and Shin Dongho. U-KISS stands for Ubiquitous Korean International (Idol) Super Star. They debuted in Japan on August 15, 2008 and in South Korea on August 28, 2008.
9.CN Blue (Korean: 씨엔블루), stylized as CNBLUE, is a South Korean indie rock band, which debuted on August 19, 2009 in Japan with the band's first mini-album, Now or Never. They were coined as the "2nd FT Island". The group released four teasers for their 1st album Bluetory, starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jonghyun, Minhyuk, Jungshin and lastly, Jung Yong Hwa on the 6th, 8th, 11th and 13 January respectively. On the January 14, CN Blue debuted their first mini-album with lead single "I'm a Loner" (Korean: 외톨이야).

11. Beast (비스트, stylized as BEAST or B2ST) is a boy group from South Korea that consists of six members, under Cube Entertainment. The group was originally known as B2ST, an acronym for boys to Search for Top. However, their name was changed to BEAST (Boys of the EAst Standing Tall) a few days before debut. They released their first mini-album Beast Is The B2ST and debuted on October 14, 2009.

MBLAQ, (In Hangul, 엠블랙, an acronym for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean quintet boy band created by Korean pop R&B singer, producer and actor Rain under his label J.Tune Entertainment. The five members include Seung Ho (Yang Seung Ho : Leader), G.O (Jung Byung Hee : Main Vocalist), Joon (Lee Chang Sun : Vocalist), Thunder/Cheon Doong (Park Sang Hyun : Vocalist/Rapper), and Mir (Bang Cheol Yong : Rapper). The group debuted in October 9, 2009 at Rain'sLegend of Rainism concert.
On October 14, 2009 the group released their debut single album, "Just BLAQ", which topped various on-line and off-line music charts in South Korea.The group then released their second single album Y on May 19, 2010, a track originally for Rain himself. Rain wrote, composed, produced and choreographed Y.
13. F.Cuz (Korean: 포커즈,pronounced as ‘Focus’), is a South Korean boy band managed by CAN&J’s Entertainment). The group made their debut on January 8, 2010 with their first single, “Jiggy”.
